Dickens on the Delaware
In addition to events on the Callicoon Depot grounds throughout the day, come join us for activities inside the Depot. Curious about planned renovations to the Depot and when they will start? Depot Board President Darko Hreljanovic will present an update on construction plans and timing from 11:00 to 11:45. The final day of the silent auction for four paintings by Jay Brooks will begin at 11:00. Bidding will conclude and winners will be announced at 5:00. The used toy giveaway will continue from 11:00 to 5:00. Give a gently used toy a new home! Short presentations by River Rep Theater will begin at noon and 1:00.
Depot Fund Raiser- Original Artwork
Silent auction for original artwork donated by Jay Brooks to help raise funds for renovating the depot. Auction will be open at the Depot during Dickens on the Delaware on December 13 from 11:00 to 5:00. Winners will be announced at 5:00 on December 13. Two signed prints by Jay Brooks also available for a donation of $100. Email allaboard@thecalllicoondepot.org for more information
Operation Toy Train and Used Toy Giveaway
Operation Toy Train will be stopping in Callicoon on December 7 at 2:30 pm. Bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate. New toys will be loaded onto the train for distribution to underprivileged children in Sullivan County. Operation toy train is sponsored by the New York, Susquehanna and Western Railroad, Operation Toy Train, and the Marine’s Toys for Tots Foundation. New toys can also be dropped off at the Callicoon branch of Wayne Bank., or at the Depot on Saturdays between 10 and 2.
Along with Operation Toy Train, CDI will be conducting a used toy giveaway. Used toys in good condition can be dropped off at the Depot on Saturdays between 10 and 2. Used toys will be on display on December 7 from 12:30 to 4:30, and children may choose one to take home at no cost, while supplies last.
October Open House
Open House on Sunday October 12 in the Depot Freight Room. Silent auction for paintings by Jay Brooks will continue, and prints of two paintings will be for sale as a fund raiser for depot renovations. The used book sale will continue with a focus on art books. Art work by 12 artists will be on display in the depot as part of the hamlet’s ArtWalk event.

Meet the Delaware Valley Job Corps
The Callicoon Depot, Inc is excited to invite you to our monthly Open Depot series at the historic Callicoon Depot! Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 26th, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We will be hosting the Delaware Valley Jobs Corps and having our used book sale.

Town Hall
The Callicoon Business Association, Callicoon Depot Inc. and Upper Delaware Scenic Byway invite all community members to participate in this public town hall meeting to discuss and gather valuable community feedback on the Callicoon Train Depot Visitor Center Project.
Community Arts and Crafts Day
You can look forward to a water coloring workshop, drawing and reading! A kid’s cozy corner with games and lounge area. Take a moment to step inside the Depot where we’re continuing are used books sale. We’ll offer tours of the depot and provide information on all the great things happening here.
